We originally received cuttings of this plant from Long Island's conifer expert, Ed Rezek, after we admired this in his garden. While Ed's plant was labeled Taxus baccata 'Aurescens Nana', we haven't found any other reference to this name. Even in the South, Taxus baccata 'Aurescens Nana' has been a stunning plant in our garden. The dense, dark green, plastic-like needles are brilliant yellow as the new growth emerges in spring. Expect this slow growing gem to eventually reach 30" tall x 9' wide in 15 years.
