This Plant Delights selection of pomegranate is the hardiest, best-flowering, and heaviest-fruiting selection we have seen. Selected from seedlings that survived our 1984/85 winter of -9 degrees F, this was the most compact and floriferous of the survivors. Throughout the summer and into the fall, Punica 'State Fair' is adorned with hundreds of bright orange, tubular flowers, followed by many dwarf silver dollar size...a truly wonderful deer-resistant conversation piece. If no one wants to have a conversation, throw a few fruits at your guests and start one!
