(YD collection # T74-39) This unidentified manfreda species was found a high rainfall area of Michoacan, Mexico, where it grew in a pine-oak forest. The glossy green boat-shaped foliage can reach 2' long, making a most unusual looking clump resembling a small crinum. The old seed heads indicate a 7' tall flower spike.
