This garden staple is at home in the best border or in the garden of a black-thumber. This can't-miss perennial overwinters as a light grey basal rosette. In spring, the leaves expand to lamb's-ear-like proportions Then from the center of the clump, stalks shoot upward, ending in May with a magnificent display of quarter-sized flowers that emerge white, then develop a soft pink toward the center. Rose campion will reseed liberally around the garden, resulting in some fabulous combos!
