I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like Hosta 'Wheee!' Hosta 'Wheee!' was discovered by hosta guru Bill Meyer as an unlabeled mutant at a garden center, although it now appears that it is a sport of Hosta 'Leola Fraim'. Hosta 'Wheee'! makes a 15" tall x 30" wide clump with the most ruffled leaves that we've ever encountered on a hosta. Each elongated green leaf is edged with a white border that resembles a roller coaster track. The unique clumps, which are sure to be an attention getter, are topped in early summer with 2' spikes of light lavender flowers.
