This amazing little sport of the rare Korean native, Hosta venusta, is widely prized in Japan. This tiny clump, to only 1" wide at maturity, requires a special site away from larger perennials. Each tiny heart-shaped leaf is nicely bordered in chartreuse-gold. In late summer, Hosta venusta 'Kinbotan' is topped with equally miniature flower scapes. This is truly a choice gem for the rock garden or similarly small space.
