This has long been one of my favorite hostas in the garden, so we thought we'd propagate a few. We could best describe this cross as a probable hybrid between H. pycnophylla and H. sieboldiana. The thick, flattened, blue-green leaves are heavily corrugated and backed with white. In very late summer, the 3' wide clumps are topped with 2' scapes of lavender flowers...a superbly distinctive specimen clump!
