Hosta 'Prestige and Promise' is a probable tetraploid sport of Hosta 'Cadillac', which we introduced for our friend, the late Ed Skrocki, back in 1999. Hosta 'Prestige and Promise' forms a 14" tall x 18" wide clump of thick, cupped and corrugated green leaves, each highlighted with a central band of gold that ages to creamy white. The clumps are topped with stalks of hummingbird-friendly light lavender flowers in midsummer...very nice!
