I am excited about being able to offer this wonderful introduction from Bill Brincka and Olga Petryszyn. This cross (H. plantaginea x H. 'Regal Rhubarb') offers the best of both...fragrant flowers, a great upright form, and dark purple petioles...are you drooling yet? The large, 12" long, corrugated leaves with dark purple petioles make a spectacular 3' wide clump, topped in midsummer with a 40" scape of very large, fragrant, near-white flowers. Can you smell them now? A much better fragrance than the geyser of the same name...wouldn't you agree?
