(aka: H. 99-094) Hosta 'Caesar Salad' is one of our favorite hostas from our breeding program. This cross of Hosta 'Korean Snow', Hosta 'Maekawa', and Hosta 'Elvis Lives' resulted in a 15" tall x 32" wide clump of very wavy, glossy green leaves. Not only is the foliage great, but the clumps are topped in late July with fascinating flower buds, followed by attractive stalks of light lavender flowers in early August. Hosta 'Caesar Salad' weathers brutal summers in great shape...a truly distinctive clump. We have chosen not to tissue culture this introduction.
