This NC native coral bell is a giant compared with many of the others. In addition to its size 2' x 2', H. villosa offers incredible soft fuzzy leaves with a velvety texture...they kind you just have to squeeze. In late summer, these gorgous natives produce stalks of tiny creamy white flowers from September thru October...truly an overlooked wonderful native!
