Geranium wlassovianum is a little-known geranium from China, Siberia, and adjacent Mongolia, where it can be found in damp meadows. The 1' tall x 2' wide clump is composed of deeply cut, 3" rounded leaves, that emerge green with a cinnamon-purple flush to the center, which fades to green in warm weather. The clump is also topped with 16" stalks of dark blue-violet flowers in May. This is our first attempt with this species, so these represent a few extras from our trial plants for gardeners who like to experiment.
