This superb form of the man-made bigeneric hybrid xFatshedera (fatsia x hedera) was selected in Japan and brought to the US by plantsman Ted Stephens, who named it after the town which contains many famous Japanese nurseries. The thick, sweet gum-shaped leaves of rich green are surrounded by a wide creamy white border and held along the semi-upright free-form (nursery lingo for not straight) growing stems. xFatshedera 'Angyo Star' is a fairly slow growing, but exquisitely beautiful selection.
