This fabulous selection of erigeron was found by Dick Weaver of We-Du along the railroad tracks in Marion NC. The flat evergreen rosettes to 6" wide have unusually crinkled leaves, resembling a "Meadow Muffin" ...that's bovine excrement to you Harvard folks. The plants are slowly stoloniferous (not weedy) on very short rhizomes. In spring and sometimes in fall, the muffins are topped with 6" stalks of pink daisies... a totally COOL plant... at home in a vertically challenged rock garden or in front of the mobile home!
