Step right up and see the "Shrimp Girl"! This dwarf form of E. alpinum grows only 8" tall, making it perfect for the small woodland rock garden. E. 'Shrimp Girl' forms a thick mass of serrated dark green leaves, and thanks to very slowly spreading rhizomes (4" per year) makes a compact tight clump. The clumps are topped with 8" tall flower spikes with creamy yellow spurs with contrasting red inner petals in early spring.
