This is probably the most asked about plant in our garden, so we propagated a few! This Don Jacobs selection of the Japanese Paper Bush has a perfectly rounded shape with a smooth brown trunk, which is shaded by the gorgeous satiny green foliage during the summer. A 10 year old specimen should reach 5' tall x 7' wide. Thousands of white buds form in the fall, giving the appearance of white flowers, through the winter until they open yellow in early spring... usually March or April. This is the only offering of this plant in the world... what a shame!
