This Dianthus came to us via a customer in Georgia, where this selection had thrived. More than likely, this is a pure white form of the old fashioned garden pink D. plumarius. Regardless of its true identity, D. 'Dunn's White' is perfect where a hot sunny situation exists. The silver-blue evergreen foliage makes a dense tuft to 2' wide. In mid-April, the clumps are topped with solid masses of overwhelmingly fragrant pure white single flowers...a true delight when you need it most...tax day!
