This variety of the Fortune's holly fern has wider spaced pinnules (leaflets)... in other words, only a botanist or fern guru can tell the difference. Regardless, the Fortune's holly fern is a great bold-textured evergreen addition to the woodland garden... either en masse or as a single 3' wide specimen. The broad, light green, block-like pinnules give a unique ferny look!
