Cyclamen graecum ssp. candicum originates from partially sunny but dry rocky hillsides in the Lefka Ori region of Crete, where we saw it growing in 2010. The August to October-borne flowers are white to pale pink, usually with a deep purple basal blotch. As with the species, the fall-emerging, late spring dormant leaves of Cyclamen graecum ssp. candicum are incredibly patterned.
