This is probably one of the most distinctive and amazing conifers that I have had the pleasure of growing, and we are thrilled to finally be able to make it available. C. j. 'Gracilis' was "rediscovered" by conifer guru Dr. Kim Tripp when she was at the JC Raulston Arboretum. The stems resemble small green pencils after being passed through a meat grinder. The tight, compact stems adorn the rigidly upright habit to 15' tall. In our garden, C. j. 'Gracilis' grows about 2' per year.
