This dwarf form of the spectacular giant pampas grass is more suitable in size for most home gardens. Reaching a clump height of 3-4' tall, the narrow, blue-green foliage spills out to form a 6' wide clump. In late summer, the clumps are topped with dozens of fuzzy tan spears that eventually extend to 2' above the foliage. C. 'Pumila' is at least 10 degrees F hardier that the species, C. selloana.
