We are thrilled to be able to introduce this Sauls Nursery selection of our easy to grow and very drought tolerant native C. auriculata. This superb groundcover for both sun and light shade makes a small 1' wide evergreen rosette. In early spring, (April - July in NC) the clump sends out 1' tall spikes, topped with pinwheel flowers of golden orange. C. 'Zampfir' differs from the species in that each of the flowers has an attractive and unique "fluted" appearance to the petals.
