This passalong mum was a gift form garden author/photographer Pam Harper. Pam obtained the plant from Glynne Clay of Nantyderry Farms in Wales. Glynne found this sport on her clump of Chyrsanthemum 'Bronze Elegance'. The September and October borne button like flower heads are a complex of amber yellow petals to 2" wide, coinciding nicely with the russets, golds and bronzes of fall. The rigidly upright stems of Chrysanthemum 'Nantyderry Sushine' will make slowly spreading large patches in the garden. Chrysanthemum 'Nantyderry Sunshine' was named as one of the top 200 plants of the last 200 years by the Royal Horticultural Society...quite an honor.
