This new UK caryopteris hybrid (C. mongolica x C. incana) is taking the country by storm. This Peter Catt hybrid is a remarkable improvement over the earlier cultivars, thanks in part to a dense compact habit...to 4' wide x 2' tall in 3 years. The very dark green tiny foliage that tightly clothes the stems, makes a nice foil for the 1-2" wide whorls of tiny lavender flowers. In our trials, flowering starts in mid-July and continues all summer. We think you will make this your first choice!
