This English hybrid using our native A. pringlei is a virtual fall flowering machine. The clumps swell in width thru the summer as the stems clothed with narrow green leaves rise to 40". In September and October for us, the stems are topped with an incredible mass of small starry pale pink flowers...a showstopper. A. 'Ochtendgloren' can fight it out in even the most crowded border...don't plant this near wimpy perennials, as they will be eaten alive!
