This Yucca-Do collection from Tamaulipas at 3100' elevation is one of the coolest asclepias species that we have grown. Found on a dry exposed rocky site, this little clumping 2' wide subshrub has adapted extremely well to cultivation here in the southeast. In looks, it most closely resembles a dwarf Amsonia hubrichtii and is adorned in summer with small light greenish flowers.
