Arisaema album is an unusual northeastern Indian species from the Khasia Hills region that has been a good performer in our garden since 2001, so we are pleased to be able to share it once again. The stalks of trifoliate green leaves compose a small, offsetting clump to 15" tall x 1' wide. The inflorescence of Arisaema album emerges in June (NC) with an unusual brush-like spadix. The name "album" refers to the white patch on the back of the green spathe where the hood folds down.
