Rue anemone is a fabulous deer resistant gem for the woodland rock garden, whose popularity has been diminished by the Evil Empire of Taxonomy... first it was an anemone, then a thalictrum, then a syndesmon, only to be cast out to form a genus of its own... anemonella. Rue anemone is best described as a dwarf thalictrum to 10" tall that is topped with nice white daisies in spring. When used in a mass planting, this clumper will make a spectacular sight in the woodland garden!
