(aka: A. carneus HAM464) From limestone rock formations in Malaysia and Thailand comes this attractive little species that produces a 15" tall pinkish-red petiole, topped with a glossy green leaf. When the tuber is old enough to have conjugal visits, you'll notice a cute little pink cup holding a light pink priapism. No need to worry, however, as the condition will resolve itself in a couple of days...less if it can find a suitable mate. A. carneus does form tuber offsets, so that it can be shared. A. carneus is a species that can be stored dry during the dormant winter months.
