This rarely offered Sonoran desert native has small rosettes of 16" long x 1/2" wide nearly cylindrical green leaves often highlighted with a white central marking. Each leaf ends with a sharp (I bet I didn't have to tell you) terminal spine. The rosettes offset quickly, making a nice colony. When the clumps mature, expect narrow bamboo pole-like flowering spikes to 8'...stunning! Agaves do not like winter wet. Great drainage and protection from excess moisture when the temperatures are below 20 degrees F are essential.
