    This stunning but rarely offered species is unfortunately one of the most tender of the rain lilies. In mid -August, the tiny mats of glossy green foliage erupt with dozens of 5" stems ending in 1" hot pink flowers. If you live in the deep South, I can't think of a better border for flower beds... in the north, what a cool potted specimen for the deck or balcony!
