Sisyrinchium 'Lucerne' is an amazing selection of our native blue-eyed grass, made by plantsman Robert Herman, formerly of White Flower Farm, while in Lucerne, Switzerland. The amazingly large, 0.75", blue-purple flowers top the narrow, iris-like foliage from May until July. Sisyrinchium angustifolium 'Lucerne' does not seem to have the proclivity to try and take over the world with aggressive seeding...wonderful!
