Agave temacapulinensis is a newly (2012) named century plant species from the Temacapulín in the Mexican state of Jalisco. According to agave expert Greg Starr, most plants are 2.5' tall x 3' wide, although large specimens were seen at the site. Agave temacapulinensis has wide silver-blue leaves with large teeth, and is closely related to the better-known Agave wocomahi. We don't have any winter hardiness data yet, but we anticipate at least Zone 8a, so these are for gardeners who love to experiment.
