More Information About Adenophora
Adenophora is a genus of 60-70 species that are very closely related to campanula. Like its cousin, adenophora is known for its blue, bell-shaped flowers. Lady Bells flowers present themselves on long, 2'+ spiky inflorescences that add a nice vertical element to the garden and make long-lasting, mildly fragrant, cut flowers. Adenophora species are great flowering perennials because they are long lived, bloom over a long period of time in summer, and spread to make a nice-sized clump. To top it all off, they are deer-resistant.
Adenophora is a flexible garden perennial and tolerates full sun to shade and everything between. However, it does not like dry soil, so plant your garden beds accordingly.
