About the PDN Newsletter Mailing List

In order to keep you better apprised when new plants, monthly nursery and garden updates, articles, expedition logs, etc. are added to our website, we have installed an opt-in Site Update Notification (SUN) mailing list. Why are we doing this, you ask? Nothing better to do....just kidding. We can't stand websites that never change or current updates that were posted three years earlier. We like to pride ourselves on keeping our site regularly updated. Often when new plants are added, they may be available in small numbers that will sell out quickly. Being on the list will allow serious gardeners to quickly snatch up these rare goodies. Occasionally, we may want to share news about an open house or other special gardening event, or perhaps let you know that we are okay after an ice storm or hurricane. We think of you as our extended family, so think of this service as one of those adorable family Christmas letter diatribes....better yet, think of us as your favorite holiday fruitcake. When you sign up, you will receive an automatically generated e-mail telling you how to go about unsubscribing. We are very concerned about spam and have just installed a filter that caught 5,000 spams in just over a week (Feb 03). Please understand that we do not and never will share or sell any e-mail addresses. We strongly support Congressional efforts to criminalize e-mail spam. People who send spam should be locked up and forced to eat the same... That being said, do not sign up for this unless you want to receive our site updates...usually about one per month. We welcome your comments and ideas and think you will really enjoy this notification service.
