Callirhoe alcaeoides 'Bama Belle' is a Plant Delights introduction of the widespread (South Dakota to Texas) North American native from its Southeastern most location in Bibb County, Alabama. Callirhoe alcaeoides makes an 18" tall x 2' wide mass of tangled stems, clothed with deeply-incised green leaves and adorned, starting for us in late June, with 2" white flowers. Good drainage and lots of sun are the keys to success.
