This recent discovery at Georgia's Itsaul Plants occurred as a branch mutation on typical Vinca minor where the new foliage emerges bright gold before fading to green. Vinca '24 Carat' is slightly less vigorous than its green counterpart, but adds a nice brightness to the woodland garden as the new growth emerges. The groundcover is topped with light blue flowers in late spring.
