Sedum tetractinum first entered the country thanks to our friend, the late Crazy Ed Skrocki, who obtained this sedum from a friend in China. Sedum tetractinum was first offered by Plant Delights in 1997 and is now sold nationwide as coral reef sedum. Sedum tetractinum is a wonderful spreading groundcover sedum with round flat foliage that hugs the ground. The foliage is an attractive green in the summer, turning a wonderful shade of cinnamon bronze in fall...a great grower and a spectacular attention-getter in the rock garden! In summer, Sedum tetractinum is topped with bright yellow flower clusters that rise just above the foliage.
