More NC Gardens to Visit

If you are coming from out of town, you may wish to extend your visit to include nearby gardens. We are only a short drive from the J.C. Raulston Arboretum, featuring an important collection of ornamental landscape plants, as well as a world-famous perennial border.

Other public gardens include:

• The North Carolina Botanical Garden and Coker Arboretum in Chapel Hill
• Fearrington Gardens in Chatham County
• Sandhills Horticultural Gardens in Pinehurst
• The Gardens at Montrose (by appointment only) in Hillsborough
• Sarah P. Duke Gardens in Durham
