This Plant Delights Nursery introduction was the result of our breeding program efforts to hybridize small but fast-multiplying, vigorous hostas. Hosta 'Hush Puppie' is a Hosta venusta hybrid that forms a 16" clump of small green leaves edged with a wide, creamy yellow border. The attractive clumps are topped in June with 8" tall scapes of dark lavender flowers...a hummingbird treat. Because Hosta 'Hush Puppie' grows so quickly, it can easily be divided and spread around the garden or shared with friends.
