(aka: Hosta 97-69) Hosta 'Dixie Cups' is a 2010 PDN introduction and one of my personal favorites. Our 1997 cross of Hosta 'Korean Snow' x Hosta 'Abiqua Drinking Gourd' forms a 15" tall x 2' wide clump of large, upright, shiny glaucous corrugated leaves. The clump is topped with 28" stalks of tightly stacked purple flowers in September...a delight for hummingbirds. This selection has not been tissue-cultured, so supplies are limited.
