From Nepal comes possibly the showiest of all of the hedychium species. Hedychium gardnerianum boasts giant flower heads of brilliant yellow, fragrant flowers, but the highlight is the dark orange stigmas that protrude from each flower and provide a stunning contrast from September through November...weather permitting.
