Gladiolus 'Lucky Star' is a little known 1950s hybrid from New Zealand's Joan Wright...a rare cross with the October flowering Gladiolus callianthus 'Murielae' (aka: Acidanthera bicolor). Gladiolus 'Lucky Star' produces 4' tall stalks in August, laden with large white fragrant flowers with a central fuchsia star pattern.
