Cypella herbertii 'Castillo' is a particularly vigorous and floriferous seed strain of the iris-relative, Cypella herbertii, discovered by Argentine bulb guru, Alberto Castillo. The short, upright pleated foliage gives rise to 20" stalks that terminate in sprays of cute orange, hat-like flowers in midsummer. You'll find Cypella herbertii very easy to grow in most well-draining soils.
