The fascinating Arum rupicola var. virescens can be found throughout Central Turkey and east to Azerbaijan. Emerging in mid-winter, the 1' long narrow green arrow-shaped foliage serves as a foil for the 3' tall inflorescences that emerge in late spring. Each inflorescence consists of a tall peduncle (flower stalk), topped by a greenish-white spathe, edged in purple and highlighted by an equally large purple-stained spadix. A mass of these in the spring garden is sure to get the garden club ladies talking...and fantasizing. Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
