I remember seeing this for the first time and thinking...Wow! This stunning new introduction from Rob Mortko is undoubtedly one of the more unusual hostas that we have ever grown. H. 'Stitch in Time' is the plant we all hoped for with H. 'Embroidery'. The unusual sport of H. 'Summer Breeze' features broad, golden leaves, complemented with a small, dark green pattern that appears to be stitched into the leaf center. This has proven to be very difficult to propagate, even with tissue culture, so don't expect this to ever become widely available or low priced. The 2' wide clump is topped with a 2' spike of lavender flowers in midsummer. Pot size: 2 qt. (1.892 L)
