After years of breeding with a streaked Hemerocallis 'Hyperion', Virginia's Walter and Sybil Przypek hit the jackpot with this stunning, variegated daylily that is sure to be high on collectors lists. The leaves of H. 'Secured Borders' emerge in spring with a narrow green center surrounded on both sides with wide white borders. The small, 12" tall x 18" wide clumps make a stunning statement in the spring garden. As the weather warms, the variegation gradually disappears and the leaves turn green.
