Disporum 'Shina no tsuki' (China Moon Solomon's Seal)
Part Sun to Light ShadeZone: 6-9 18" tall Origin: China
This Japanese disporum (not a disporopsis as it is often listed) makes a tight clump of 18" arching stems, adorned with glossy dark green leaves, each highlighted by a bright golden center. When used en masse, D. 'Shina no tsuki' (translated as China Moon), is wonderful to brighten a summer woodland garden and makes a wonderful textural contrast when planted near ferns. We're pretty sure this is either D. cantoniense or D. bodinieri...both tardily deciduous. Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
