Iris siberica 'Roaring Jelly' (Roaring Jelly Siberian Iris)

SunZone: 3-8 36" tall Origin: Hybrid

Web-Only! (Schafer/Sacks 92) This 1992 introduction from iris breeders Marty Schafer and Jan Sacks has proven particularly vigorous in our trials. The 3' tall flower spikes are topped in late spring with flowers composed of very dark falls, highlighted with white veining, while the standards are nearly white with light lavender veins...very cool. Well-drained soil is preferred, but Siberian iris are very tolerant of all but soggy soils. In the 2005 Siberian Iris Society Popularity Poll, it still ranked #1! Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
