It occurred as a sport of Hosta 'Loyalist', which was a sport of Hosta 'Patriot', which was a sport of Hosta 'Francee', which was a sport of Hosta 'Fortunei'. This circuitous route has produced a unique dwarf hosta, to 6" tall x 1' wide, composed of narrow green leaves with a white center. H.
